Blocktomic Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Blocktomic. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Blocktomic mobile application (“the App”). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App you confirm that:

you have read and understood these Terms and the Privacy Policy;
you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country);
you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

2. The Service

Blocktomic is an offline-first workout timer and tracker for interval training (Tabata, HIIT, endurance and strength workouts). The App provides:

creation and management of custom workouts and activities;
a workout timer with audio/vibration cues and optional GPS distance tracking;
a local history of completed sessions, progress tracking and badges;
optional anonymous statistics (only with your consent, see Section 6).

The App does not require a user account. Your profile and workout data are stored locally on your device.

3. License and Personal Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

copy, modify, distribute, sell or sublicense any part of the App;
reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

4. User Data and Privacy

Your workout data, profile and settings are stored locally on your device and are not collected by us. Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

5. Location / GPS

The App may use your device’s GPS during workouts to track distance. GPS is used only during a workout and is never stored on our servers. You can disable GPS at any time. Location permission is optional; the App also works with manual distance entry.

6. Anonymous Statistics

The App may send anonymous statistics to Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics only if you give your explicit consent (Settings → Privacy). This data (usage events, crash reports and anonymous feature votes) is used exclusively to improve the App and contains no personal or identifiable information. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

7. Advertising and Supporter Feature

The App may display rewarded video advertisements (via Google AdMob). The “Supporter” feature lets you watch a short ad to keep the supporter badge active for a limited period. Advertisements are provided by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

use the App for any unlawful purpose or to harm others;
attempt to interfere with, disrupt or overload the App or its infrastructure;
use the App to train in conditions that put you or others at risk.

Always consult a qualified professional before starting any fitness program. Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, interface, name “Blocktomic” and logo, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the App.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Blocktomic and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App. Fitness training involves inherent risks; you use the App at your own risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available in this document. Material changes will be communicated in the App. By continuing to use the App after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the country in which the user resides. For any questions, requests or feedback regarding these Terms or the App, contact us at blocktomic@gmail.com.
